Our Year 7–9 students took part in an engaging Character Builders incursion focused on teamwork, connection and positive peer culture.
Across a day of fast-paced rotations, students worked in groups they don’t usually collaborate with, stepping outside their comfort zones to build skills in communication, problem-solving and encouragement. Activities such as grubber kicks, bottle flips, brain strain challenges and caterpillar relays highlighted the message of “Step Up, Step Back and Encourage Others.”
The program promoted:
- Working with peers outside familiar friendship circles
- Building a positive and supportive team culture
- Developing social skills for life-long learning
- Strengthening teamwork and resilience
The day concluded with a spirited war cry competition, showcasing unity and enthusiasm across all teams.
