Sophia Stillness

Research indicates that active engagement in daily meditation leads to reduced levels of stress, anxiety and depression, improved performance and concentration, and increased compassion and empathy. Sophia Stillness is a direct response to this and aims to provide staff and students with 4 minutes of stillness and quiet reflection to connect with oneself, and all creation.

At 12.30pm each day, a chime rings calling the entire College community to be still. From 12.31-12.35pm music is played to assist the community to focus on their breath and let go of their thoughts.
